I googled my boyfriend.
A friend of mine has been complaining about looking for a mate on internet dating sites. He seems to struggle understanding the hidden meanings behind how people describe themselves. Curvy means fat, Fun means fat, voluptuous means fat ... you know, that kind of thing.
He wanted to know what the ettiquette is regarding googling people you are dating, intend to date, or have dated. So Im asking you, Do you google the people in your life?
I do. But not to dig up information, mostly for fap fodder. But maybe thats just me.

I do but you cannot just believe any negative character assassination. You have to talk to the person face to face (Skype) to judge and know them directly.
I do out of curiosity, but I don't believe everything I read on line.
Not I. I do facebook pretty hard though.
I googled myself once. just to see what comes up.it showed all the social network sites ive joined million years ago. shocked that I saw my name with my correct address too (now deleted). fact is I always check fb prof of the person I find interesting.
I hear employers google their applicants or check their facebook profs to see what kinda person they are.
Jobs look at fb, creditors look at fb, debt collectors looks at fb.
I have but only because I was bored and googled myself and some friends. Not to find dirt. Though, my job requires me to find info on someone any means necessary, I do use other sites, so if you are truely looking for dirt, google and fb are 2 sites I wouldnt use
All my friends have too common of names to be googled lol
